MISSION: Social Media Awareness and E-mail SALES

Since 2015, I've been working as a consultant and digital editor of influential comics magazine Heavy Metal. Initially, the task was to modernize the magazine's online presence with behind-the-scenes measures including SEO, site structure, and briefing staff on social media best practices. On this page, you'll see some of the outward-facing work I've done on the magazine's Instagram (instagram.com/heavymetal), which I've taken from zero to over 400,000 followers in two years, and the e-mail newsletter, which I took from basic (and easily-ignored) sale alerts to a digest of the compelling content posted to the site.
